They’re looking for informed, insightful writers to contribute interviews, curated lists, or reported pieces that explore the media industry, politics, tech, culture, and the intersections between them.

Rate: Up to $500 per piece, depending on complexity.
Type: Freelance, remote, flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates:

• Have a strong, clear voice and write for a media-savvy audience
• Stay current with news while maintaining a wider perspective
• Bring industry insight or deep curiosity about journalism
• May be journalists, media critics, researchers, or plugged-in observers
• Are excited to engage with the editorial team via Slack and help amplify great journalism
