They’re calling on writers and artists within the Black diaspora—from farmers to food justice organizers, students, teachers, creatives, and community stewards.
They’re hungry for nourishing, grounded, and imaginative stories—anything that helps us reclaim our roots, redesign our food systems, or celebrate ancestral and cultural connections to food and land.
Accepted formats include:
- Essays, poetry, short fiction, prose
- Art, photography, illustrations, multimedia
- Playlists, case studies, food justice research
This is not just about writing jobs. It’s a movement through storytelling.
