Guideposts is inviting writers to pitch true, first-person inspirational stories that reveal God’s direct intervention in everyday life. These stories will be featured in upcoming multi-author devotionals and true short story collections designed to uplift and inspire millions of readers.
The current call is for Book 10: His Wind at My Back, focusing on moments when God’s guidance was clear—whether through perfectly aligned events, mysterious interventions, or undeniable divine direction.
What They’re Looking For:
- Length: 750–2,000 words
- Perspective: Must be first-person, told by someone central to the experience
- Core Requirement: Include an “amazing” or mysterious element that highlights God’s active presence
- Tone: Positive, faith-affirming, and uplifting
- Stories must be original and unpublished in the form submitted
How to Pitch:
- Submit a 50–150 word summary outlining your full story arc and how it fits the theme
- Include your full name, contact details, and agent info (if any)
- Ghostwritten or “as told to” stories are also welcome
