What They’re Looking For:
C Magazine is calling for pitches for their upcoming Spring 2026 issue, themed “CHORUS.” Writers and artists are invited to explore how multiple voices—whether musical, political, or emotional—come together to form meaning.
They’re interested in essays, features, and creative compositions inspired by ideas like:
- Choirs, chants, and musical layering
- Sonic art and performance
- The aesthetics of collectivity and protest
- Repetition, rhythm, and resonance in writing and sound
- Experimental thought and interdisciplinary collaborations
They’re especially drawn to unique artistic perspectives that treat sound and voice as both structure and metaphor. Reviews are accepted on a rolling basis, and don’t have to fit the theme.

Send your pitch (around 150 words) to pitch@cmagazine.com by October 15, 2025.
Include:
- A brief summary of your idea and how you’ll approach it
- Estimated word count
- Relevant hyperlinks or references
- A short bio, CV, and 1–2 writing samples (especially those that match the style you’re pitching)
